Our experience with Danielle at MYSHIBA.COM has been wonderful. When we found the website, we added it to our list of Shiba Inu breeders in order to perform a thorough due diligence, prior to making a commitment to purchase a puppy. Having previously owned a male Shiba Inu for 15 years, we knew the importance of early socialization and happy, healthy parents. We quickly narrowed our list down and selected MYSHIBA.COM and Danielle as our breeder of choice. Danielle was quick to respond to our inquiries and it was obvious she knows her Shibas!! Another important aspect we noticed immediately is Danielle’s passion and true love for the breed. These are qualities that most breeders we researched didn’t exemplify and yet something we find important to the health and consistency of the breed. Danielle has a keen sense of Shibas and the differences in female versus male, mini versus standard, etc. She played a key role in our decision making process; helping us weigh out the pros and cons of each. Once we made our selection, a cream female mini, Danielle provided us with regular updates and sent photos when requested. We were scheduled to pick up our little Maggie in August and actually arrived in the area a day early. Out of the blue we “dropped in” on Danielle at the kennel and were thrilled to be welcomed and introduced to a very loving and adorable little Maggie, now Maggie May. Danielle even introduced us to some of her own furry babies and Maggie’s parents. The facility was clean, beautiful and dog friendly. I’m so jealous; I wish I lived there with all those beautiful Shibas. Our trip home, a 4-hr. drive was amazing. Maggie slept in my arms until she needed to potty. She became restless and we stopped to let her do her business. She is very smart, playful, healthy and loving. Look for updates on Maggie’s FB page!!
